Ninja Turtle!

As I posted my last years cake work on yesterday's blog, I also included my latest cake so i decided to show you the latest one I made on today's blog...
My nephew's Bday was last week and since I was already traveling to Cleveland  I told my brother that I will make him a special cake for him. He was so excited when he saw it, it surely was a surprise for him and I was a happy camper when I saw the expression on his face, he couldn't believe that he got a Ninja Turtle cake and the best part was it was his favorite flavor, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting...

Playing catch up!!!!!

Hi everyone, it surely has been a while posting anything on the blog, it was a very busy last year..I had a LOT of orders which prevented me from sitting down and posting pics of my latest works. So with that said I am going to try to post all my past years masterpieces... They wont be in any kind of order, here we go!

Very Princess

I had the awesome opportunity to make an Oh so good  "devils food cake", meaning VERY chocolaty  with a chocolate ganache filling cake for a special princess. The look on her face once she saw her cake was awesome and her dads face  was even better, once I told them that it was a chocolate cake. I made the tiara however, it is not edible. I let the tiara dry to hard so I had a difficult time sticking the edible pearls on with edible glue so I had to improvise QUICKLY,so I whipped out the hot glue gun. I didn't think it would work at first but amazingly it did.. The lace that wrapped around the cake I also made. I just glued 3 different kinds of lace together and than I glued the band of rhinestones to make it look prettier.. and there you have it!

Baby Celebration!

I cannot forget these cuties. My sons teacher asked me if I can make her a baby celebration cupcakes for her daughter and I was thrilled to make them.. I almost forgot to take pics of them... As you can see they were already boxed ready to go!! :)
