A tiny bit adventurous....

Wozers! what a busy past 2 week it has been..Glad to go back to some what of a normal schedule....This wknd coming up is going to be an exciting one, I will be meeting up with my first potential customer. Will keep you posted.
However, yesterday I felt a bit adventurous and  I decided to make a batch of fondant icing so I can make an owl.
You know those moments when you start something and you are half way done but you wondered, what the heck did I get my self into????? That was me!!!!! However, I managed to do the batch with clinging children and all and I also miraculously was able to finish a tiny cake with butter cream frosting....

 So this is my poor little fondant (buho) owl. Its OK owl you will look better next time. Probably after 10 more tries...:)

And my little cake. Flower swirl made out of butter cream frosting. OH! I apologize for the background, it was a quick take a pic before husband runs and sink his teeth into it kind of pic.....;)

Hopefully next week I can start making my harvest theme cake...keeping my fingers crossed! :)
