Its been a while, so hello!!!! as if you didn't know already I am a busy little "mama"...Yesterday I worked on a small wedding cake...Lots of work but at the end it was worth it...so here are some pics of the cake. Its NOT put together yet, its suppose to be a two tiered cake made out of BC frosting with a rustic effect. Bottom tier is yellow filled with BCF and top tier is choc cake filled with chocolate ganache...
This tier is the top layer choc cake filled with choc ganache with a burlap around the cake.
This is the bottom tier. Yellow cake with BC filling.
Again, this rustic theme cake is not assembled yet. The top tier will also have roses in front of the bow.
And yes somehow I managed to bake another cake last night. Maybe since my diet yesterday consisted of sugar and more sugar, I was under a big sugar high!!!!
So this cake is a spice flavored cake filled with a cream cheese butter cream frosting also covered with the same frosting, can you say LOTS of calories?!!!! but also very tasty. I added a MMF (marshmallow fondant) Christmas tree and star. I decorated the tree and star with simple crystals and pearls.
